COVID-19 Protocol

There is nothing more important to us than the happiness, health, safety, and well-being of every party guest who joins us at Gatsby's Gala. Our protocols in response to COVID-19 are listed below.

Gatsby's Gala 2021 Protocol

Face Masks/Coverings

Face masks/coverings are required at Gatsby's Gala and all guests are expected to wear masks inside Davies Center regardless of vaccination status. Masks do not need to be worn when when eating or drinking during the event.

Face covering means a piece of cloth or other material that is worn to cover the nose and mouth completely. A face covering must be secured to the head and must fit snuggly but comfortably against the side of the face. Cloth face coverings must be made with two or more layers of breathable fabric that is tightly woven. A face covering does not include face shields, bandanas, single layer neck gaiters, or masks with slits, exhalation valves, or punctures because public health experts have determined that these types of coverings are ineffective at preventing respiratory droplets from entering the air.

Daily Health Monitoring

Monitor your health daily. If you are unwell, please stay home. If you or a member of your party is experiencing symptoms similar to those of COVID-19 or have had known exposure to someone with COVID-19, please stay home.

University guidelines

To ensure the safety of all participants, masks and daily health monitoring is required under University Protocols. For more information on University Guidelines, visit https://www.uwec.edu/coronavirus-updates/campus-mask-guidelines/
